Trust & transparency

A clear route back to the source.

Important guidance should be traceable. We link to public agencies, official device documentation and the programs that actually provide a service.

How to read a review date

The current source check was completed October 5, 2026. It means the linked material was opened and relevant guidance checked; it is not a claim that the source was published that day, every fact will remain current, or the site receives live alerts.

What we prioritize

  • Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre, RCMP and Get Cyber Safe for Canadian scam and digital-safety guidance.
  • Apple, Google and Microsoft for their own device features, limitations and settings.
  • Program operators and governments for eligibility, coverage and costs.

What review does not establish

Linked organizations have not endorsed this site. Instructions are not a physical-device test. Program listings do not establish open spaces, acceptance or funding. Source verification and automated website tests do not replace independent professional review.

Examples are fictional teaching scenarios. Suggested family conversations and workshop activities are editorial ideas, not claims of proven prevention outcomes. If guidance conflicts, consult the current official source and an appropriate professional.
